Axiem Corporation is a strong advocate of giving back to the community and, as such, schedules a monthly visit to a children’s shelter in Victoria; Laguna called Bahay Tuluyan.
In the month of July, a team of eager volunteers from Axiem travelled south to deliver pre-loved clothes and shoes to the kids living at the shelter.
The volunteers prepared song and dance presentations to entertain the kids throughout the day. The most energetic kid in the group was awarded a coloring booklet with a pen for their enthusiasm. Art materials were also provided, and our volunteers taught the kids to create Do-It-Your-Own Photo booth props.
The children were very cooperative and energetic. The program was a great success and all children participated in the activities and enjoyed a performance of the song “Hawak Kamay”. It was very emotional and meaningful. This represents a promise for the kids that no matter what happens, the Axiem Family will be there for them.
The volunteers’ hearts were filled with joy and gratitude for the experience they had during their visit.
“At the end of the day we didn't say goodbye, but we just said see you again. No expectations, but definitely our hopes are so high.” - Ronald Arpilleda, Axiem Volunteer
We’re grateful for our employees who share the same values with us in helping the kids in Bahay Tuluyan. Our heartfelt thanks for all of you who volunteered and we look forward to the next team who will visit the shelter. Cheers!
We believe that every hard working employee deserves to be recognized and rewarded. Are you the next Axiem awardee?
